Child Safety Policy
Effective: April 4, 2026 · Last updated: April 4, 2026
Amigens has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, exploitation, or any content that endangers minors. Violations will be reported to law enforcement and NCMEC.
1. Our Commitment
The safety and well-being of children is our highest priority. We are committed to creating a safe environment and to preventing, detecting, and responding to child exploitation and abuse on our platform. This policy applies to all users of Amigens worldwide.
2. Age Requirements
- Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Amigens
- In jurisdictions where the minimum age for digital services is higher (e.g., 16 in some EU member states under GDPR), that higher age applies
- Users under 18 are not permitted to use Amigens
- If we discover a user is under the minimum required age, we will immediately terminate their access and delete associated data

3.3 Other Harmful Content Involving Minors

4. Detection and Prevention
4.1 User Reporting
All users can report child safety violations through:
- In-app reporting: Tap the 3-dot menu on any post or profile and select "Report" → "Child safety"
- Email: safety@amigens.com
4.2 Bluesky Moderation Integration
All reports are submitted to Bluesky's moderation team via the AT Protocol (com.atproto.moderation.createReport) with the appropriate reason type for child safety violations. This ensures the content is flagged across the entire AT Protocol ecosystem, not just within Amigens.
4.3 Proactive Measures
- We review flagged content as quickly as possible
- We maintain the ability to remove content from our cache immediately upon discovery
- We cooperate with Bluesky's Trust and Safety team on child safety matters
5. Enforcement Actions
When we become aware of child safety violations, we take the following actions:
| Severity | Action Taken |
| Confirmed CSAM | Immediate removal from cache, report to NCMEC, report to law enforcement, permanent ban from Amigens, report to Bluesky moderation |
| Grooming / solicitation | Immediate removal, permanent ban, report to Bluesky moderation, report to law enforcement if applicable |
| Sharing minors' personal info | Content removal, warning or ban depending on severity, report to Bluesky moderation |
| Bullying / harassment of minors | Content removal, warning for first offense, ban for repeated violations |
6. Reporting to Authorities
6.1 NCMEC Reporting
In compliance with U.S. federal law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A), we report all confirmed or apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline. NCMEC coordinates with law enforcement agencies worldwide.
6.2 Law Enforcement Cooperation
We cooperate with law enforcement agencies investigating child exploitation, including:
- Responding to lawful legal process (subpoenas, court orders, search warrants)
- Preserving evidence when required by law or when we believe a child is in imminent danger
- Providing available data to assist investigations (limited to data we cache on our servers)
6.3 International Reporting
For users and violations outside the United States:
- EU: Reports may be forwarded to relevant national authorities through NCMEC's international coordination
- UK: Reports may be referred to the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) and National Crime Agency (NCA)
- Australia: Reports may be referred to the Australian Federal Police and eSafety Commissioner
- Other jurisdictions: NCMEC coordinates with INTERPOL and local law enforcement globally
7. Data Preservation
When we identify potential child safety violations:
- We preserve all available evidence, including cached post content, author information, timestamps, and report metadata
- Preserved data is stored securely and shared only with law enforcement and NCMEC as required by law
- We retain preserved data for the period required by applicable law
8. Parental Resources
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services immediately (911 in the US).
